The problem

Generic sizing doesn't fit

Most dog shoes work off a basic chart — measure the paw, pick S/M/L/XL. Here's what that misses:

Every breed differs

A Lab's paw isn't shaped like a Frenchie's — even at the same width.

Front ≠ back

Front paws are wider and shorter than back ones. One size for all four = two wrong fits.

They slip off

The #1 complaint with dog shoes. A loose fit won't grip, no matter how tight the strap.

The weird walk

That high-stepping gait isn't silly — it's discomfort. Bad fit bunches and drags.

Here's the part nobody talks about. Adult human feet vary by only about 30% in size — and we still get 20+ shoe sizes. Dog paws vary by up to 400% across breeds, yet a typical dog-shoe chart offers around 10 sizes or fewer.
